Inclusive Reads Book Club: Our Wives Under the Sea

If you’re interested in reading more diverse and inclusive titles, check out “Inclusive Reads,” our newest book club for adults. This book club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to discuss books that feature racially, ethnically and socially diverse characters and perspectives.

At the June 6 meeting, we’ll discuss Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield. Published in 2022, this horror/sci-fi mashup is Armfield’s debut novel and centers around Miri and her wife Leah when a deep-sea mission goes awry and Leah is stuck beneath the water for six months.
