This summer, join your library staff for hikes every Friday during Summer Library Program! All ages are welcome to meet us at various locations throughout Huntington County for morning and evening hikes at the following places, dates/times. Stop in to get a grab-and-go activity kit to make a friendship bracelet. The kit will allow you to make and decorate a custom bracelet. This kit is appropriate for children under 12, with younger children needing help from an adult or older family member. Kits are available while supplies last.

Owls are awesome but elusive, so we've invited Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab back to the library for an all-ages program all about native owls in Indiana. Participants will hear from Soarin' Hawk's experts about how owls hunt and live, how humans can help owl populations, and will get to meet some of their owls!

Celebrate the end of summer library program with us with our end-of-summer party, "Camp After Words"! We are planning a variety of camp-themed activities around the library including:- A fishing game and big bubbles- A campfire singalong- S'mores snacks- A guided "hike" through the library- Nerf archery- A bracelet craft
