Effective Wednesday, May 19th, the Huntington City-Township Public Library will be adjusting their mask wearing policy to reflect recent recommendations from the CDC and changes to the city’s mask mandate.
Fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to wear a mask in the library. Masks will be strongly advised for those who are not vaccinated, children ages 11-5, and those with potential health concerns. Library visitors will be asked to wear masks while attending indoor children’s programming as young children do not have the option to be vaccinated. Masks may also be required if you are working one-on-one with Library staff in a close situation.
We appreciate your cooperation with us through the last year, and we hope that you will continue to work with us to maintain the health and safety of our community.
